EuroStampa Super Label Project

Spring 2024


Concept

Hosted by the company Eurostampa, this was called the Super Label project. This team project focused on designing a new way for wine companies to package their bottles. This super label would act as both the protective packaging and the label itself, as well as elements of sustainability and brand identity.

Approach

Working in a team of two others, we developed various ideas for approaching different prompts. Inspired by the gobstomper shoes and their creative way of wear and tear turning into art.

Sketches

Brainstorming ideas based on prompts related to traveling with the bottle. The prompts were inspired by the Makers Mark wax seal, BabyBel, and the idea of peeling off a protective layer.

Digital Iterations

Explored different iterations to find the right solution. After discussing the iterations and ideas, the group agreed to combine the top three ideas: a rubber base, a removable layer, and a wax seal.

Our Brief

Inspired by the gobstomper shoes, heat maps, and environmentally friendly material, we created a design that merged storytelling with packaging. Our design uses multiple layers of paper, with the bottom layer as the label. On top of that, we would add two thicker layers of paper layered with a material that naturally scratches off to reveal even more color.
